Experience the coming together of two culinary traditions
At Alcuzcuz the food has always been very important. The dishes we serve are mainly Andalucian/Mediterranean with great Moroccan influence. It is based on our family recipes made with seasonal produce from our gardens, local fish and meat.
We are always keen to try new ideas and to prepare food to your taste.
If you plan to spend the day out either on the beach or the countryside we would gladly prepare a picnic basket for you.
If you would like a picnic basket please request it the day before.
Breakfast at Alcuzcuz
Start your day with a delicious home made fresh breakfast. We prepare fresh juices from our garden and offer home made jams and marmalades, the best local pork products, extra verging olive oils, home made bread and pastries as well as cereals and yogurts.
We offer cooked breakfast which includes, fried eggs, omelettes and anything else that you request.
At the restaurant are dishes focus on the quality of the produce. We aim to promote local ingredients in a simple and unpretentious way. We use our kitchen garden and greenhouses to grow our own ingredients to ensure the restaurant is sustainable.
We offer a very traditional menu with classic flavours as well as a tasting menu showing off some of Andalucia’s flair.
Our aim is for each customer to understand a bit more about our culture, highlighted by our uncomplicated fresh cuisine.
These are the values of our restaurant and head chef Fernando Villasclaras Arce. He studied at the prestigious Benahavis Hotel School and worked in some of the world’s top restaurants such as Mugaritz (Basque Region) Dinner (London) and recently in “1870” (Marbella) and La Bulla (Estepona)
